Lists and List building

In an effort to make this page seem less likely to outdate every time there is an update I wanted to use to more to explore different styles of list construction with some sample lists rather than just as a repository for the janky stuff I play.  The app does a fine job of storing lists and is a decently well designed tool so just saving lists here isn't needed.

The design of the Conquest is interesting from a list building perspective.  The character specific warbands and the mainstay unlocking restricted options creates a good amount of decision points in the process.  There are all sorts of ways to go about construction.  I personally prefer to use a modular approach where I've built various warbands that provide different tools and I mix and match these to create my list based on what tools I'm looking for.

One example module would be this:

== Scion of Conquest [100]:

 * Chosen of Conquest (3) [230]:

 * Chosen of Conquest (3) [230]:

You'll notice I don't have any extras or even a cult chosen that is mostly by design.  I tend to make those decisions after I've got the list put together.  Occasionally some upgrades are part of the module itself and in those cases they are sort of built in.  The example above would be a scoring/scenario play module.  Chosen of Conquest are very mobile and decently durable making them quite effective at holding or flipping zones and if you can bring them on with a tier 3 chant you can reach a lot of zones on turn 2 when they enter.
